Aaron Abbott, Owner and CEO, started Technical Medical LLC after a 20-year paramedic career working in high performance, high volume, emergency medical services systems. 

Aaron has over 25 years of EMS experience including: Field Paramedicine, EMS Executive Management, Tactical EMS (SWAT), Weapons of Mass Destruction and Hazardous Materials Technician, Emergency Communications, and High-Performance Resource Deployment. Aaron holds a BS in Management, MS in Crisis & Emergency Management, and works as a national consultant and subject matter expert in the field of Emergency Medical Services.

Aaron started Technical Medical to provide high-quality EMS services to niche markets, as well as work to modernize pre-hospital healthcare.

Matt Brown comes to Technical Medical with over 30 years of experience in the fire and EMS fields. 

Matt started in the fire service in 1990 in a small rural town in Northern California. From there, he went on to become certified as a First Responder, then an EMT, and eventually earned his Critical Care Paramedic certification. Matt worked for both wildland and all hazard/risk fire organizations as well as rural and high performance EMS agencies. He also spent 10 years flying on mostly rotor EMS platforms in Nevada and California. 

Matt has extensive experience in leadership and management from the field to the executive level. He has helped develop and build a number of successful and sustainable rural EMS systems through innovative modeling and partnerships. Matt provides consultation to rural EMS and healthcare entities and has a passion for building sustainable solutions for rural communities. He holds degrees in Fire Science and EMS Administration.

Matt started his career in EMS in 2004 as a Wildland Firefighter in the Lake Tahoe basin, and now serves as a professional Firefighter/Paramedic for a large agency in the Reno area. Over the past 18 years, Matt has spent time working as a Wildland Firefighter, 911 Dispatcher, Aviation Dispatcher, Paramedic in a busy EMS system, and as a HAZMAT technician. Matts current role involves community risk reduction, fire prevention and safety, commercial and residential fire inspections, fire plan review, fire investigations, and is a certified Nevada EMS instructor. 

Steve is a Critical Care Paramedic and has been in EMS since 2001. He has served as a corpsman in the US Armed Forces, a Flight Paramedic, and EMS instructor for the State of Nevada. Steve has lead policy change as the Manager of State EMS for the State of Nevada, and is a former FEMA Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT) member. Steve brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team.
